I see that the flag for Ubuntu is listed as Deprecated. Does that mean it won't work with Ubuntu...or you just don't need the flag anymore. I see these post are also a few years old so I'm hoping that someone with knowledge will respond.
For point of reference, I'm looking for a utility that I can clone/take a backup incrementally of a live ubuntu system on a regular bases. I have a number of machines I'd like to do this for. Currently I pull the SD and use Disks on my ubuntu laptop but....a) There no compression so it's hit and miss when you have to replace an SD whether the new will have the same or more space than the old; and b) It's getting a bit old pulling SD cards every month or so.
Any help would be great.
