Troubleshooting • Jumping Mouse

I've been having a problem on my PI 5 8GB. It doesn't show on my PI 4 8GB so it must be something exclusive to the 5. If I'm reading articles on something like Reddit, or Hack-a-day, as I scroll down all of a sudden the screen will jump back up to the top. Sometimes I can't even hold the cursor down on an article.

All I have connected to the 5 is the wireless mouse/keyboard dongle. I've read that some of the USB/SATA cables can cause problems, but I disconnected that. As I said, everything works fine on the Pi 4.

Even as I type this the screen is jumping up maybe 2 lines every once in a while. I'm not hitting the mouse or keyboard and do have fresh batteries in both. I;m using the same OS in both 64 bit Bookworm.

All I can think of is some interference that the PI 5 is picking up as a cursor signal? I really like the PI 5, but getting half way through an article and jumping back to the beginning is getting old.

I don't have a wired keyboard or mouse or I would have tried that.

Thanks in advance for any help that someone can give
