I'll be more interested in Rust once the Gnu Compiler Collection supports it. It's about halfway there. I hadn't heard of a core rewrite, only driver interfaces so far. It will be a great test if the language's viability.Its definitely worth considering the Rust-language when writing programs for the Raspberry Pi OS. Also read that the Linux Foundation are planning to rewrite the core in Rust-language. Fascinating stuff!
