I have a strange requirement to configure an OS so it is RGB565 through the entire graphics pipeline to avoid any pixel format conversions.
Using a Raspberry Pi 4, configured with the vc4-kms-v3d driver, running Wayland/labwc, is there a way to force the display pipeline to be consistently RGB565 all the way down?
I added `video=HDMI-A-1:800x480-16@60`, and that seemed to work until Wayland/labwc started. Then it reverted back to 24 bit color.
