The standard starting answer... Determine your working load in Watts (W). Multiply by the desired duration in hours (h). Multiply those together to energy requirement in Watt-hours (Wh). *Then* look for a battery that has about 20% more Wh capacity than you need, to allow for conversion inefficiencies.
