What do you mean when you say that the unicam driver in kernel 6.12 has dropped controlling those devices via /dev/videoN?
off-topic question, I tried to use rpicam-vid to preview video from ADV7180 but it says "camera not found" . I understand raspicam-apps use libcamera interface and libcamera for some reason does not support the ADV7180 V4L2 interface. Or does it? is there a way to add / configure support in libcamera for generic V4L2 devices? such as unicam+ADV7180 but also for example external USB cameras or USB video grabbers
