I have an 3b+ running generator monitoriing software. The other day a nearby lightning strike killed the RPI. I ordered 2 new ones. The new RPIs won't boot. Two different SD cards and a power supply are known to work with another RPI that I have. These don't work with the new RPIs. The ACT led is flashing 4 long and 7 short - type B power failure. I'm finding it odd that both new RPI's would fail in the same way. The SD card has the Buster distrbution.
Could the newer RPI's not be compatible with the older Buster distribution? That distribution was "dist-upgrade" on May 1.
In the meantime I've ordered replacements that should be here tomorrow.
I thought I saw a post that there was a problem with this error with RPI's made in late 2023 but I can't find that now.
THanks
